One can hope! it was a lucky guess, but I did know his wife had reached out to SK, so glad they are helping out. Now, hopefully the tests are not picked up and taken away before the state can use them. other supplies have been "federally acquired" as they make their ways to tarmacs and such.

Maybe lol good point. I’m just guessing. I knew his wife asked SK for help weeks ago, I never saw if they ended up helping or not.

Cape and I keep telling you guys, if you can’t engage with him without it going off the rails, regardless of who is at fault, then stop engaging. That means all engagement. Not side comments you know he will see and comment on.

Look this thread for the most part has had little conflict minus one or two dust ups since it opened. But since you started posting there have been more reports and hidden posts than any active thread going on in total (a guess but it’s a lot) you are not an easy person to debate with and you know it. You could do your part in not stoking fires when you see them at an ember just as others need to learn how to reply to you. It goes both ways

Our political affiliation has no bearing on our moderating. I did a clean sweep of anything Trump MAGA protests etc related. If your post got caught up, I apologize. I’ll go back and look. If it was post where you went on about Trump and Biden and WHO, it was correctly hidden.

If you need to get your political itch there are other avenues for that. It is not here. The topic can be discussed without the need to get into the political weeds. and y’all have GOT to figure out a better way to interact with Phineas.

    COVID-19 Talk

Should note, CDC put out new guidelines thus week to start including probable cases/deaths in counts. Worldometer starting doing that on the 14-15. I’ve noticed big differences between the two the last two days with counts. Just something to keep in mind when looking at numbers. You’re welcome! I hope it does help, but I am just another weather nerd like the rest of y’all and have no background in any of this stuff lol. So hopefully no one is taking my thoughts and planning based on them. But, yes it seems as if the state is planning, but also the superintendent is known for making sure the school years get the necessary days in, no matter the weird schedule or length it takes. I think all parents in MD need to keep all options opened. I thought they’d just end the year and move on, but I’ve heard chatter from teacher friends that they are considering having kids go to school over the summer, as an option. So who knows... I hate the continued hope that they could go back. It drags on and wears you down, kids included.

Sure, I get that. But I had hopes that schools were already planning for kids not to go back this academic year. and this sounds like they haven't been and they are only extending it to give themselves more time to plan. poorly planned is the gist of it.

i have no idea, but i'm not a huge fan of it. sure a lot can change in a month, but enough that the state is comfortable sending kids back to school? no way... its probably a grace period to give them time how to handle the end of the year, grades, graduation etc.

yeah not sure why there are just extending instead of just saying they won't go back this year. ugh and no, haven't heard anything yet.
