    Not going to get into the political weeds here, but if anyone wants to do mail-in voting, please get your application in! Super easy, i emailed mine yesterday, got a reply from Baltimore County this morning saying it was received and my ballot will be mailed in early October https://elections.maryland.gov/voting/absentee.html I don't care how anyone votes, but please make sure to vote. off my soap-box now.

    @losetoa6 came out this morning to help us get some electrical outlets fixed. nice to put a face to the name! thanks for helping us out! mini-map is super excited that we can put christmas lights up out front again, and mr. map is happy he doesn't have to run a cord from the basement to the deck in order to use his new grill

    Lot of butterflies in the garden today; two monarchs, three tiger swallowtails, at least one black swallowtail and lots of skippers

    yeah thats nice. we just had to make a call before it got too close and we'd lose out on getting our money back. we really wanted to go, and had we been in a house to ourselves we may have still gone. but being in a condo building really put us on edge. just better to stay home and be safe, then go and have the worst happen.

    We had a Myrtle trip planned in september that we cancelled. We were staying in a condo and just didn't want to spend every single day at the beach and not go do much else, just wasn't worth the money. hopefully next year we can all go on our vacations again

    fine by me, the pool is our saving grace this summer. longer it stays open and warm, the better our sanity.

    i am almost positive it was one. mr map questioned me if it was one of those impostor butterflies, but pretty sure it was a monarch. haven't seen any caterpillars

    spent the first half of the day staking out silt fencing for a site in Baltimore. Was nice to get out of the house for a few hours and see the wonderful industrial park that is the port of baltimore area.

    got clipped by a storm around 730 that dropped out of PA but missed me east. Nothing else otherwise.
