If you need to get your political itch there are other avenues for that. It is not here. The topic can be discussed without the need to get into the political weeds. and y’all have GOT to figure out a better way to interact with Phineas.

  3. I’ll check it out! We’ve got a decent backyard space
  4. yeah the rest of the month looks pretty active, especially Deep South. Not good following last weekend. Which, my map is already outdated. 8 more added since I made it lol
  5. We ordered a frisbee game called KanJam. Fun game, aim for a bucket with a slot in it. 2 points hitting, 3 points in from top,, win the game if you get it in the hole. Kid loves it. Frisbee golf too has become our thing around the yard during "recess"

Should note, CDC put out new guidelines thus week to start including probable cases/deaths in counts. Worldometer starting doing that on the 14-15. I’ve noticed big differences between the two the last two days with counts. Just something to keep in mind when looking at numbers. You’re welcome! I hope it does help, but I am just another weather nerd like the rest of y’all and have no background in any of this stuff lol. So hopefully no one is taking my thoughts and planning based on them. But, yes it seems as if the state is planning, but also the superintendent is known for making sure the school years get the necessary days in, no matter the weird schedule or length it takes. I think all parents in MD need to keep all options opened. I thought they’d just end the year and move on, but I’ve heard chatter from teacher friends that they are considering having kids go to school over the summer, as an option. So who knows... I hate the continued hope that they could go back. It drags on and wears you down, kids included.

Sure, I get that. But I had hopes that schools were already planning for kids not to go back this academic year. and this sounds like they haven't been and they are only extending it to give themselves more time to plan. poorly planned is the gist of it.

i have no idea, but i'm not a huge fan of it. sure a lot can change in a month, but enough that the state is comfortable sending kids back to school? no way... its probably a grace period to give them time how to handle the end of the year, grades, graduation etc.

yeah not sure why there are just extending instead of just saying they won't go back this year. ugh and no, haven't heard anything yet.

DC will be different than MD on when schools start in the fall. Hogan pushed for all schools to start after Labor Day a couple years ago, then state congress made it so counties can pick. Baltimore County is set to return the Tuesday after Labor Day.

pretty easy guide... if you start to mention 45s name, and then what he is/isn't doing and your feelings about it... dont post it.

Once you understand the mind-frame EJ come from, it makes digesting his posts easier. I would not personally let his thoughts get to you like they did.
  15. Thanks, good to know! yeah, we have a decent size garden along our deck that has a ton of butterfly friendly plants. bee balm, blackeye susans, day lillies, etc. we too just prune them each year. but i have my own dedicated veggie garden space, but decided this year i didn't want to do veggies. we always grow way too much and they go uneaten despite how often i give to friends. so wanted to do something different this year.

well you made the argument that wxusaf is a scared guy and you just want to go to work. the reasonable follow up is if you haven't been working since this started. and which point, i would understand the need to get back to the office. but, if you have been working, then i'm not sure your reason makes any sense. wasnt trying to get into the personal weeds with you.
