I thought I had heard they would be canceled completely. Same boat. Until a decision for school is made, we can't make any plans in terms of daycare for the kid. We may be juggling working from home some days and others going to the office until school is officially done. For now though, our employers are fine and understanding and are still encouraging people to work from home.

I dont know how they send kids back safely. I just don't think its possible. We shall see how this week goes with daily virtual class time and the request to send back completed work. My kid was super excited to have an hour of Specials today. Gym, art, music and library all together for an hour. She needs the face to face interaction as much as us adults do.

K-12 schools are probably a huge incubator and spreader as well. Still dont see kids going back to buildings this academic year. I'm guessing MD will make a call later this week as their current learning from home end date is May 15th

Hard to say. I don't think anyone from Hogan's administration has said the clock started. We had 3-days in a row of no new hospitalizations, but then 14 new were added.

No. you are correct. The numbers of tests had not updated on the website despite the rest of the numbers being updated. Thanks for the correction.

i dont agree with a threat of arrest over protesting. As long as they were protesting safely. Not sure a lawsuit is the answer though.

True to his word, Hogan opened up a testing site at Perdue Stadium for poultry workers (and I assume family) 641 were tested Friday, no one was turned away.
