  1. If anyone was watching WBAL at 615, I had a nice shoutout from Ava during her weather hit. She texted me asking to check my driveway, so I waddled out there to see how icy it was.
  2. 30° everything is covered in ice. Some sleet mixed in with freezing rain
  3. Down to 31 here. I haven’t been outside to know how cold it feels lol
  4. 2hr delay here, so I’ll let the chips fall where they may lol
  5. Sorry! Bottom of first post you can edit title. Thank you!
  6. Have def seen snow up my way on a few of the runs. Brief, won’t add up to much
  7. we can swap locations for this one if you want lol
  8. Briefly hit 36 for a high. Back down to 34 now.
  9. yeah does seem warmer for you and others south.
  10. 18z HRRR covers the entire event. Quite a bit of QPF with it. I didn't think it was gonna be that much?
  11. Yeah turning it into obs is fine @ravensrule can you edit the title to include Obs?
  12. Yeah. Sorry. 70s next week with maybe storms on Valentines Day
  13. HRRR is has a lot more QPF than prior runs
  14. 17z HRRR a bit more widespread with precip after 8-9pm. DC gets a good band of frozen before midnight
  15. Maybe some light sleet for HoCo 10pmish per Euro. More widespread after midnight
  16. Fair. But you made the broad statement it wasn’t anything to worry about. Maybe for you.
  17. There’s nothing really until much later
  18. Hmm. 15z hrr has .2” qpf up here by 4am with more to come. I wouldn’t classify that as nothing to worry about
  19. When are you supposed to be traveling? Precip is out of the area by noon. Temps won’t get above freezing until around then too
  20. It’s def a worse case scenario for ice
  21. I work from home, but am expecting a delay with school. Not sure I believe the GFS output, it’s FRAM assumes all liquid will accrete onto surfaces. We know that heavier precip will run off before it can freeze and sleet piles up like snow instead of sticking to trees. Either way, looks like a messy morning.
