  1. I need to tell my mom to step up her game to include homemade pita with her homemade hummus. Enjoy as well!
  2. Sweet!!! What else do you guys eat? Our usual menu is: Lamb, tabbouleh, kibbeh, spanakopita, dolmades, and more olives, hummus and feta then I can eat.
  3. Yay! We finalized Easter plans with my mom, since she's fully vaccinated. Cannot wait for her traditional Lebanese foods
  4. A little taste of normalcy this morning with enrolling the kiddo in before/after care for the fall school year
  5. yup. I was optimistic it would be a good winter for all and not just the N/W crew.
  6. I hope it was a great day, happy belated my friend! Co-sign. Not bad today when the wind isn’t blowing.
  7. I am assuming he will follow CDC guidelines for what is considered high-risk. Which is a lot more than what's on the website now when you pre-register. Maybe they will release more information next week when pre-registration for 2B opens up. and @North Balti Zen I know they don't check. Numerous coworkers who are healthy and in their 30s have gotten their shots by calling themselves essential lab workers. They are not. They don't go to the office, they've been home for a year. That's just frustrating af.
  8. im hoping they release a more detailed list of what underlying conditions are eligible under 2B.
  9. nocturnal tornadoes too, which are even worse.

  14. That's great!! I'm hopeful to have a similar positive experience when the time comes. Also, Oh Fort Belvoir. The maps I have made for that installation over the years.
  15. The cost savings are great for both employers and employees. A big plus to WFH has been the dinner aspect. I usually work until 4-430, sit for a bit (or get outside with the puppy) before starting dinner. I have been trying all sorts of new dishes, that I otherwise would never have had time to make pre-covid. The lack of commute is glorious and gives one so much extra time in the mornings/evenings.
  16. That's great! My office has mentioned moving from two floors to just one floor and have the majority of the work force be WFH workers. Cubes will be emptied of personal affects and used as a sign-up type of thing. So if you know you need to be in the office one day, you reserve a cube to use for the day. If that doesnt work out, I plan to sit with my boss and say, I'd like to be a majority WFH employee
