  1. I hear you friend. Soon enough, we will be vaccinated and that will help. We can't do anything about how others wish to live their life unfortunately.
  2. Agree to disagree is fine with me. lol i'm tracking flowers and warm temps. lol
  3. And my response to that is, well... let them. People will make the choices that is best for them and if it turns out really shitty in the end, they only have themselves to blame.
  4. guess its you then. have a great day
  5. And regarding Trixie's post, she isn't wrong. Some choose to share far too much about their political leanings here and its not a good look.
  6. Sounds good. I assure you there have been posts calling people 'scared' for being cautious. if you don't see them, then that's on you, not me.
  7. no posts have been deleted.
  8. not sure anyone called you out specifically, if you didn't belittle anyone, then these posts aren't about you.
  9. We are all grown ass adults, we know what we are comfortable with and what we are not. And that's okay. its okay if someone wants to hit up a bar after a long day at work, or go catch a Os' game (when they can), but please don't belittle the rest of us who are being more cautious. No one here knows anything about anyone else and why they are making the choices they are making to go out, or stay home. Just be more respectful.
  10. I agree, but telling people not to be "scared" is disrespectful and shouldn't be said. People who have lower risk thresholds, absolute should go do the things they are able to do with all safety measures in place. but lets not belittle those who chose not to as being 'scared'
  11. I think its best not to tell people to stop being scared, we all have our limits with what we are willing to risk and should be more respectful of that.
  12. Yup, thats how I feel. We are so close...
  13. heard some earlier too! windows are opened. hoping to wrap up a little more work so i can get outside with the dog and enjoy the beautiful weather.
  14. cant wait to open the house up this afternoon and let the warmer air in
  15. Map has been updated with the new additions https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1s0m_oAkLy169xBTMWO-BPxShxouBHQiM&usp=sharing
  16. some of my best (and worst) memories cheering on the Terps were against Duke. Remember that game at Cole, where we lost in the last minute. I was at that game. Its was as horrible in person as it was on TV.
  17. HES HUGE, I mean, you know he's a big dude to begin with on the court, but man in person... its crazy. He's super nice and while he's in Europe now, he still calls my mom monthly to catch up. She loves it. My sisters and I are all grown and out of the house, and my dad passed away a few years ago, so MD (across all sports) is my mom's life now. hahahahaha
  18. WAPO even did an article on my mom and her bestie https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2018/12/23/these-diehard-maryland-fans-make-page-scrapbooks-every-mens-basketball-player/
  19. Gary was also super awesome, as a person in general. My mom makes scrapbooks for players. (she gets 1 or 2 freshman a year and makes them books of their entire college career at MD, with news clippings, pictures, etc.) At the end of each season, there would be a banquet for family and friends (pre covid) and my mom is always invited. One year she invited me as her plus 1 and I got to meet the team and coaches. I think the one I went to was either Gary's last season or the season just before it. Either way, he was awesome. Boom Osby, if anyone remembers him, is still a good family friend. He's been to my mom's house more than I can count, HUGE guy hahahaha
  20. I haven't forgotten! Haven't updated since my last visit. Will do it this week, promise!
