  1. Pretty sure 2009-10 was a lot higher
  2. I saw the sun for 10 minutes so I guess that qualifies as partly
  3. So we need a 1902 repeat to get close
  4. Yes early Jan 18 had a coastal blizzard. Dec had a few events that year as well
  5. I can't think of many recent winters where we had so little through Feb 15th and it turned around. 91-92 comes to mind but ended up well below average. 92-93 flipped early in the month, wound up close to average. 95 was one and done
  6. Even if the pattern flips everything has to go perfectly to get a big snow at the coast. We could be cold with a storm suppressed or too far offshore or a coastal hugger and we end up flipping to rain. I mean eventually our luck has to change but that could very well take til next winter
  7. Warm and rainy with little snow is basically the same thing even if the reasons why are different. Dec 97 was colder than this year and Jan 98 was warmer than this year so its evened out
  8. Yes. We'll get one in the next 3 years though
  9. This winter was always going to be a 97-98 repeat or a one off storm type year like 83 or 2016. So far minus the cold week in January it's behaving more like 98. That's why I'm not shocked or complaining and have no control over it anyway
  10. its coming in 2 weeks
  11. Which is weird because he and snowman thought February would be good too
  12. I have no doubt it'll get cold again and we'll probably have a few opportunities but I'm not biting on anything until inside 72 hours. And nobody can predict if a great pattern will produce so snowfall forecasts are just hype
  13. Just like last year
  14. Setting themselves up for more disappointment
  15. Dry and cold through the 10th seems possible
  16. I had 2 good events certainly better than this month
  17. I remember the nam kept showing me getting 1 or 2" the morning of. It was only off by 75 miles or so
