Kinda reminds me of 12/27/90. Were predicting 1 to 3 that morning before upgrading to 3 to 6. Ended up with close to 8 with a layer of freezing rain on top. It was all gone within 48 hours

3+ is going to be tough with qpf of .3" or so unless theres no melting and ratios are 10:1

It wont hold but a very impressive +34 for the day

Yeah the euro had a 'mother of god' run midweek that had 2 to 3 feet from DC to Boston and everyone went crazy

I think at one point the euro was alone showing a huge hit then every model lost it for a couple days

I seriously dont remember being that optimistic though. I gave up around the 22nd

12/30/00 saw sharp cutoffs but some places picked up 2 feet in 9 or 10 hours. I dont recall alot of wind but certainly rates of 2 to 4" an hour would seem blizzard like either way. 2-5-01 was a heavy wet disaster of a storm that hit during rush hour crushing areas just inland

Caribou has a much longer, harsher winter though it would be ideal If you hate hot summers

Mercer and bucks counties are warned and it's barely snowing if at all there

Returns seem to be weakening on the western edge over interior nj. Maybe getting robbed by that convection offshore
