  1. Odd. My local forecast is for 4 to 6" now. No mention of sleet
  2. Sleeting in freehold and flemington but some places have gone back to snow
  3. Coming down nicely. Just measured 1". Would like to make it to 2 but not hopeful if the mix line is rapidly approaching
  4. Easy the mix line runs north south and is moving east
  5. LI will be the big winner. No lull and will mix last
  6. Would depend on the intensity. March 2018 my street was covered when it was 36
  7. The lull should only last an hour to 90 minutes
  8. Big dry slot north of philly that probably has to move through before the next batch moves in
  9. With lows in the teens tonight snow should stick immediately .TONIGHT...Clear this evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows around 14. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. .SATURDAY...Cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning, then snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Highs in the lower 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent. .SATURDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Snow with a chance of rain in the evening, then a slight chance of rain after midnight. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches
  10. Kinda reminds me of 12/27/90. Were predicting 1 to 3 that morning before upgrading to 3 to 6. Ended up with close to 8 with a layer of freezing rain on top. It was all gone within 48 hours
  11. 3+ is going to be tough with qpf of .3" or so unless theres no melting and ratios are 10:1
  12. Yeah the euro had a 'mother of god' run midweek that had 2 to 3 feet from DC to Boston and everyone went crazy
  13. I think at one point the euro was alone showing a huge hit then every model lost it for a couple days
  14. I seriously dont remember being that optimistic though. I gave up around the 22nd
  15. 12/30/00 saw sharp cutoffs but some places picked up 2 feet in 9 or 10 hours. I dont recall alot of wind but certainly rates of 2 to 4" an hour would seem blizzard like either way. 2-5-01 was a heavy wet disaster of a storm that hit during rush hour crushing areas just inland
