  1. Probably mid December before they drop below freezing
  2. Euro is cold on day 9 after a big rainstorm next weekend
  3. 76-77 yes not sure about the other years. 78 was very stormy
  4. Overall the 80s winters were cold but not particularly stormy and the timing was often off but we didn't have a lot of major rainstorms either. Cold and dry was the rule. Jan 82 and 85 had famous arctic outbreaks with below zero temps. Christmas of 80 was also below zero
  5. If no measurable rainfall tonight or tomorrow at ewr will this be the first time no rain has fallen for the first 20 days of a month?
  6. Morristown is up 34 degrees in 5 hours after bottoming out at 30
  7. 85-86 had 2 in Feb, Jan 88 had 2. Jan 89 another. All were snow days for me. Not huge storms by any means but certainly plowable. Before 82 I don't remember but 79 had the big president's day storm
  8. Cold enough for early December snow before we torched
  9. Line of showers just wet the ground. Not sure it'll be enough be the first measurable precip of the month at ewr
  10. I could still see ewr and parts of the city remaining at or above freezing
  11. Finally something showing up on the gfs. Storm next Friday Euro has it as well
  12. I hate these cloudy "warm" days. I'll take sunny and 48 any day over this
