Can't blame them when 3 decent threats went to crap for the immediate metro area. Some of it is bad luck but until the models have something inside 48 hours it's hard to get too interested

Great storm. I think it was in the single digits the morning of. Was driving back from Philly during the heart of it then the following morning we got blizzard conditions as the low departed

Made it to 25. A bit higher than expected

But the first storm back on the 6th when much of the area was getting an initial 1 to 3" before the changeover, EWR and central park were a degree too warm to accumulate and ended up with next to nothing. LI of course didn't do well either but that was more because of the setup and track. In these borderline temperature events the urban heat island does play a part

Correct for philly but for nyc that's Tuesdays event. Upton never put one out for yesterday that I saw. Probably had so few reports they didn't bother
