Stein is not closing any damn pools. "As a matter of fact, some of the immediate beaches of the North Shore and down into Boston could stay under 70 all day. This is rather cool for this time of the year. When you add in the fact that dew points will be falling into the 50s and even some 40s, there could be a slight chill when you get out of the water."

For sure. The switch just dims things. Less extended high temperatures. Possible but not probably .

Yes same here. Maybe it's a model we're not aware of. AHHAT is predicting the last week of August to be 85 to 90. Don't see that either.
