It's been a weird year. I had absolutely no black flies this year, not one. Hadn't seen a single yellow jacket until today. Still haven't seen a hornet which are usually around the eaves of my garage. Probably not a good sign for the ecosystem. Unfortunately I have had hungry mosquitoes the past few evenings.
