  1. Best head for the cooling stations if they're not overwhelmed.
  2. 56 brrrr. I've changed my mind bring summer back.
  3. Not much to blast. People usually don't get too worked up over it being 67 instead of 61 overnight. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Going to throw another Log on the Fire and watch the rest of the Bruins.
  4. I'm sure the departures from normal were much greater then this so-called sizzling summer. Max in the summer min in the winter. Nobody cares about average temperature. When was the last time your neighbor stopped you and said, did you see it only got down to 67 last night? Truthfully what I remember about the winter of 2015 was the snow ☺️
  5. Again, who cares what the temperature is when you're sleeping? warm overnight lows are not memorable. Worcesters only record: A RECORD RAINFALL OF 1.74 INCHES WAS SET AT WORCESTER MA YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 1.33 INCHES SET IN 1970.
  6. Lolz ! Utterly forgettable summer . Who's going to remember it was 65 degrees at midnight? Dead on average number of days above 90 and no record highs. Only record set or tied : THE LOW TEMPERATURE AT BOSTON ON JULY 28TH WAS 78 DEGREES. THIS TIES THE PREVIOUS HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR THAT DATE SET BACK IN 1963
  7. Wake me when we have a heatwave in Boston, Providence or Worcester . You know, places where folks actually live...
  8. I'm with you on the oak. How about a nice beech?
  9. Not much of a five day heatwave. None of the major hubs in SNE - Boston, Providence, Worcester had even a single day of 90+ Maybe next year...lolz
  10. More convection than most Summers. I'll take it.
  11. I've yet to hit 90 during this Heatwave for the ages.
  12. Lol... 65 instead of 60 at night. Did it even hit 100 degrees in SNE this year? Summer of snore.
  13. Yup, hoping to eek out at least one 90 degree day during this record heat wave.
  14. You and Bob must have got something? NWS Norton received 3/4 of an inch
  15. Broke the 2 inch mark , 2.18 and still coming down.
