  1. That stuff down south looks like it's going to slide southeast of here. Don't think I'll see a single flake. Oh well, it's still a little early even for first flakes.
  2. Yep, and frankly I just can't get excited or depressed about seasonal or weekly models after last year.
  3. I'm definitely not expecting to see anything on the ground, or maybe even anything elevated. I'd just like to see significant accumulations on the map because it assures we will see a period of snow falling from the sky.
  4. Even the models recognize the DC snow hole in November. Impressive. Usually takes us much farther into the winter before seeing this kind of map.
  5. It's always the storm after the storm!
  6. Basically no accumulation at all though.
  7. Looking forward to when we can begin NAM extrapolations!
  8. I agree. Setup is not one that ever really works for us, and that's in January and February. Good luck in November. But I hope I'm wrong.
  9. Was not the greatest weather event ever, but didn't think it was as disappointing as some think, especially for basically freaking November. Had very heavy rain for an hour or two getting slammed into the house by some pretty good wind.
  10. All this complaining and the GFS says we will be almost halfway to our annual snowfall by mid November.
  11. GFS looks pretty wet for much of Sunday.
  12. NAM may actually fail if that heavy rain keeps struggling to advance northeast. It approaches DC and then starts to dissipate.
  13. Everyone makes fun of the Nam, but every now and then it nails a storm. Judging by current radar, it looks like it was clearly the best model for this storm. GFS was out to lunch.
  14. I'm surprised the drought isn't considered severe at this point. It's basically not rained at all for close to two months while being well above normal in terms of temps. And we didn't get a ton of rain this summer, either. Had a few periods where storms got us, but no real organized systems or tropical events.
  15. LOL, I was about to say that seems awfully early for this forecast, and also very similar to last year, and he's not a Bastardi that constantly hypes every winter.
  16. I'm in Elkridge but have a great view close to my house looking east/southeast and have seen the storm clouds from storms sitting over the Salisbury area before.
  17. Can see that Bel Air storm in the distance from here. Huge clouds.
  18. That storm is just a bit northeast of me and looks really nasty. Has already dumped a good amount of rain in spots and looks like a lot of lightning and there has to be some pretty big hail in it.
  19. Some decent rain to the far NW in the region, but what a massive bust. I had one period of heavy rain overnight that was pretty quick. I'd estimate I ended up with a quarter inch or so. LOL.
  20. Unless radar suddenly blows up overnight, hard to disagree with this. The scattered activity that is even out there is moving fairly quickly.
  21. Looks like all the storms are heading north over into PA.
  22. Somehow managed to completely whiff yesterday. Had some very short periods of heavy rain and saw a couple of flashes in the distance. That was it. The 'ole Hoco split.
