Yeah, so lucky. 2014 was an absolute blast.

January/February 2014 was very cold and a parade of storms. It was basically tracking for two straight months. We've had much more snow and much bigger storms, but I don't remember a period that long that was that busy and wintry. February 2015 was basically the same, but to a lesser extent.

The CCB in the 2016 blizzard was just awesome. It was just dumping snow and the winds were whipping once it swung a bit east and got me for several hours in the afternoon. It was just west of 95 most of the morning. You literally couldn't see a few houses down the street, and it was so cold.

My roads finally caved thanks to the last band!

Back edge almost through. That last band was really nice. Reminded me of the high ratio snows you get in the big storms from the CCB.

Looks like that last little band might pack a punch. Hoping I can hit two inches with this one but need this last band to go to town. Side roads and sidewalks are slushy here and a tiny bit of snow cover in isolated spots.

Never got the intense thump, but still a nice event. Nice, steady snow and a chance a couple inches and some road stickage.

Seeing the colder spots on the sidewalk and even a little bit of the road getting slushy and snow-covered. Early January sun angle in the afternoon FTW! I think there's a good chance I will end up with at least a coating on the road.

Liking the looks of that yellow banding to the south as the grand finale. Hopefully put an inch on the board and then have that roll through here close to sunset and roads instantly cave.

Nice steady snow. Except for paved surfaces, everything is caving. Like my chances at a couple of inches.

I'm just north of 100 and east of 95. Right along the east side of Route 1 at 100 basically.

You can almost see a little pivot to the radar right now, which hopefully with get a tiny bit more cold air in here to change me over and also force some of the dark greens and yellows up my way.

Seeing attempts at a changeover to snow whenever the intensity increases a bit. You start to see some big, wet flakes mix in. As much as the lack of changeover is an issue, honestly the bigger issue is the rates just aren't there and the back edge is approaching. Even if it was all snow right now, it wouldn't amount to anything.

Still light rain here, but it's so light that it wouldn't really matter if it was snowing instead of raining.
