Second batch seems to be building back to the southwest some and also expanding a bit in general as it progresses. Looks like 95 will get hit again. Yoda was right. Pretty active night.
Nice batch of storms to the northwest. Will likely miss mostly for 95 crew, but north and west people, and especially as you get into Southern PA, have had a quite active day. Southern PA has been the big winner past few days.
Oh, well I'm just looking at Baltimore-DC area. Obviously plenty of warnings if you start going way back into parts of Virginia outside immediate DC metro.
I mean, for most it did. We had a Severe Thunderstorm Watch and we had a couple of warnings I think, which all seemed rather weak. Line actually looks like it is strongest right now crossing the bay.
Looks like all that stuff popping is just west of 95 and probably won't really blow up (if it even does) until it's too late and probably crossing the bay.
I did notice latest NAM shifted the line around some and gave more hope for our area. HRRR doesn't have much. At least it gives us something to watch today, and obviously the next few days. Been generally really boring weather-wise for a long time.
Makes sense. Not seeing any severe risk, and chance of just thunderstorms even seems low looking at radar, but pretty good batch of moisture headed this way.
Just judging by radar, this looks like a 1-2 inch deal. Don't really see the flooding concerns unless the intensity increases with this line and there is some training.
