  1. NAM now seems focused on tonight only. Really nothing tomorrow but a few early showers.
  2. Line looks like it isn't moving south very much.
  3. Ha, was just coming here to post that. It's probably wrong, but the NAM looks good for late tonight and tomorrow for being quite active.
  4. 0z NAM looks absolutely nothing like 18z. Swing and a miss. All the heavy convection is wayyyy south and east. Sweet model.
  5. 18z NAM drops 2-4 across Central MD.
  6. Given the track of the low, I'm surprised we are not going to see really heavy rain. It seems like the heavy rain is literally within 10 miles or so of the low. It also seems like the heavy rain amounts in general, even in the heaviest pockets, are starting to come down some.
  7. Still a close call for late Saturday/Sunday. Doesn't look like it would take much of a bump north at all for all of us to get doused. The 3K NAM totals are ridiculous in a very small area.
  8. Had some T&L out of nowhere. Was surprised by that since I didn't notice any cells today with any at all. Looks like the heaviest went west of me into Ellicott City area.
  9. 6z GFS still looks like a very big rain event for MD.
  10. How's the weekend looking? Still a bunch of big hits?
  11. Main Street seems fine. Sounds like other parts of EC and Catonsville, as well as the city, have considerable flooding.
  12. I believe that automatically happens any time a Flood Warning is issued for the area.
  13. I think the actual dot on the map representing Ellicott City is actually west of Main Street. It appears just west of 29. My guess is that 3 inch mark is almost right over Main Street. Bullseye may be just south of Main Street.
  14. Much quieter now, but still raining pretty good and got the Flash Flood Warning. Guessing things could get a little hairy for Main Street EC given the current radar.
  15. Business picked up in a hurry. Pouring with lots of lightning and thunder. Radar is poppin.
  16. It's still earlyish I suppose but I have to say the radar is not exactly exciting. Coverage is meager. Isolated activity so far.
  17. Huge bust. Glad it's the summer and not the winter!
  18. Latest NAM not as impressive as earlier today for overnight rain, FWIW. At least it finally looks to be picking up on Isaias and seems to have it on a reasonable track.
  19. Latest NAM and HRRR look like an ICC and south day.
  20. Looks like NAM may have nailed the split. Doesn't look like much going on up this way tonight. Could be active around DC and south, though.
  21. NAM and HRRR looked unimpressed with potential for today.
  22. Nothing crazy here but did just have a good rumble even though the storms are well east of me now. Nice rain today though to piggyback the storm I got yesterday. Should help green things up a bit.
