    In addition to the 90 degree heat, I think we have severe t-storm potential on Thursday. Nice that we have some interesting weather to look forward to this week after all the boring east wind weather we've had this month.

    To me it still appears that winds will go SW which will allow us to get well up into the 80s. In fact I was probably being a little conservative 2 days ago when I said mid 80s. Now I think we'll be upper 80s to around 90 Tuesday through Thursday.

    I'm betting it will be quite a bit warmer than this forecast too. With sunshine and the winds switching to the SSW, our area should get up to the mid 80s.

    I would gladly take 2 out of 3 nice days for the holiday weekend. 9 days away is an eternity when talking about weather, so who knows at this point.

    I enjoyed the 65 degrees and cloudy with a cool breeze during my run this afternoon (perfect running weather), but that's the only time I enjoy it. Otherwise 70s or 80s with sunshine is best this time of year. Obviously this will be over soon anyway. A few weeks from now these cool days will be a thing of the past.

    65 feels a little chilly with the cloudy skies and gusty NNE winds. Lousy weather, but I'm about to go for a run and that's the one positive. Obviously these cool temps are good for running. Nice to still be able to run fast with the cool weather lingering well into spring, but I am looking forward to the warmer weather next week. Looks like we could have a few days with temps in the low 80s here next week. Hopefully it won't turn ugly again for the holiday weekend.

    Tapering down to sprinkles here as the focus of the rain shifts to the east for the afternoon. 0.46" here so far for this event. Looking forward to some warmer weather next week. Obviously before then we have to get used to these cool dreary days with highs in the low-mid 60s, but we might sneak in 1 slightly warmer day on Friday.

    It popped to 70 here briefly when we had that sunnier period around 2pm, but now back down to 65 with mostly cloudy skies.

    Yeah I was hoping for a nice day today, but lousy so far. It does appear that more sun will come out later in the afternoon, so hopefully we can see late day highs in the low 70s.

    Gotta get used to lots of clouds unfortunately. With all the clouds and easterly flow expected over the next couple weeks, it appears we actually have a shot at having a month that doesn't end up with above normal temps for a change.

    I got 1.03" here. It was a good soaking, but as you said it was a miserable day with the cold weather.

    Pretty good soaking. We're up to 0.58" here now and it's coming down moderately. Radar looks pretty good, so we might end up getting close to an inch for the day.

    51 degrees with light rain. As ugly as it gets for May. The only positive is the lettuce plants love this weather, lol. We're probably going to get stuck in the 50s again on Sunday. Awful. Looking forward to getting back to the 70s on Monday. Hopefully Sunday will be our last chilly day of the season.

    Yeah low-mid 50s for highs. I don't think anyone believes we'll stay in the 40s Friday. When I said temps won't overperform due to ENE winds and rain, I meant it will get stuck in the low-mid 50s similar to what happened on Sunday. Temps are likely to be at or slightly lower than the current forecast Friday, just like they usually go higher than forecast on sunny days with offshore winds.

    Stormlover called Sunday one of our top 10 worst early May days ever. I can't believe we're gonna have another top 10 worst ever for May again on Friday. Low 50s with rain again. Horrible. Gotta enjoy the warmth today because this is one heck of an ugly period coming up.

    Yeah low 80s feels great with dewpoints only around 50. Beautiful day. It hit 83 here. Looks a little warmer tomorrow ... I'm thinking 87. Then we go to cool weather with the east winds for late week. We might get stuck in the 50s on Friday.

    75 here. It's nice to be back to warm weather, but too bad it's only gonna last a few days.

    Tapering down to sprinkles as the back edge of the steady rain has passed, and we did indeed pick up .25 here. Not bad.

    Yeah I thought we might only get a tenth of an inch, but radar definitely blossomed a little bit compared to how it looked a couple hours ago. Looks like HRRR is gonna be wrong about our area getting only about a tenth of an inch. Looks like we'll get a solid quarter inch now. At least that'll be enough to give the garden a decent watering.

    Just horrible. Yesterday the temps fell to the low 50s during the late afternoon with the very light rain, and today stuck in the low 50s. Probably not even any beneficial rain today either (probably have to wait until thursday). Our area might only get a tenth of an inch today based on the way radar looks right now. Just chilly damp miserable weather. As you pointed out, we likely have to wait a few weeks before we get to consistently warm weather. Typical for our area.
