  1. Was just looking at the COOP data locally in SVT and most locations peaked at 40-60" depth in March, so definitely looked like a solid winter without even looking at snow totals. Even bottom of the valley here which torches was 36" peak.
  2. Yea PF, its not like its tumbleweeds blowing down main streets of VT villages...its been an absolute zoo down here also almost all of OCT, restaurants always crowded and outdoor dining always seems filled on nice days.
  3. I drive down to Williamstown MA once or twice a month for edibles. I am not and never have been a big pot guy, but also don't have any issues with those that smoke. The edibles have done wonders for my sleep problems, amazingly helpful, totally changed how I feel now that I can get some actual sleep. I only use them at night for sleeping and wake up feeling great most days. Back to PF's point, its definitely a diverse group that I see waiting in the parking lot for curbside pickup. You will see someone in a 60k Audi next to a college kid, next to someone in their 70s, next to a middle age soccer mom.
  4. Cocorahs guy had .5" at 7am. He's above 1700ft like Will said.
  5. Noticing town still really busy and outdoor restaurants still crowded even mid week. Probably a combination of influx of new residents and work from home people who can now just extend their weekend trips into the work week. I was in Walgreens today and overhead a guy in front of me chatting with the cashier saying he came from Minneapolis to escape the protests and unrest in parts of the city, saying he was hearing gunshots many nights as he lived downtown somewhere. No idea how he picked this town in VT--- if it was random online research or had some type of past local connection, but things are certainly different, thats for sure.
  6. If you are going to be up in Randolph all winter, its easy to deal with the -30F days....stay away from the mountain. Its much easier to pick and choose which days to head out when you live so close and have season passes.
  7. True..guess more like a month plus--mid-late Nov for spots outside of 2k+. Nov 2018 was super snowy for lots of spots, but I think it was mostly mid month and later if I recall.
  8. Obviously not taking this verbatim, but do expect some PF picnic table shots. Ridiculous soaker next weekend on Euro, prob would be feet of snow for more than the just the high elevations if it was a few weeks later.
  9. Yea, I noticed that too even down here. I will look at a tag and it says "hardy to 0F"...lol.
  10. Lot of damage on one street..seems like every house has a tree on it.
  11. I'm down at Bennington Hospital, power went out for a few minutes at Hospital, either came back on or Generators backed it up.
  12. I've never even been on the Kanc, but always here stories about the backups around peak foliage..no chance I would go near that on a weekend in early Oct..
  13. That's looks like pretty good coverage, nice job. Hopefully it stays around through next summer.
  14. Yea l, thought that was funny, he's obviously a big gardener/plant guy, but Hostas are starting their fade anyway as coastal said.
  15. Nice, what town? I see your in the Taconics somewhere.
  16. Cancel those Columbus Day weekend reservations, looks like you guys are on the back end of peak heading down quickly to stick season.
  17. PF and Phin high fiving each other all winter across state lines..that probably won't get old quick..
  18. Don't worry, you'll see leaves again June 2021..ha
  19. Stein made a visit to my front yard. Backyard barely holding on. About 25 days since any rain more than a heavy drizzle. Couple inches this week hopefully.
  20. Yesterday morning view in the Eastern ADK's near Schroon Lake..great foliage viewing during the boat rides A couple from sunny day a few days ago. Last 2 in SVT.
