  1. I heard the NAM at 0 hours was bad
  2. It has started. The earliest model to come out today will affect ALL the other 12z models. The first mode to come out knows
  3. Is that better or worse than Cape'd?
  4. If people read posts by our mets really closely they would get the info needed as to what to look for on maps when trying to figure out if a storm has a chance
  5. I'm sure it will be more liquid here for my dookie flakes
  6. Ever watch the show Fjord in Fire? file of lol
  7. Heat island this morning. 35° with frost
  8. No. There was a glittering Boulder that kept the water down enough to fjord the river. Not yet. My skill level isn’t high enough yet. Pa has me working on fishing more. Soon I’ll be angler level
  9. The coldest temp I was ever in was that week. But the coldest day I’ve ever worked in was a day when temps were in the 40s. Forecast was sunny and 50s and it stayed cloudy and in the low 40s. I dressed for 50s. So where I was working was windy as well. No sun, wind, 44° and I was in a tshirt and light jacket. That sucked
  10. Oh no, that was only for the rich folk. Those even had bench seating for two. Mayor burgermeister meisterburger had one of those
  11. Fall/winter was the worst. We had to use seashells after all the leaves fell
  12. That’s was in the 1920s. Pa told me in April 1930 I fell off the family wagon going to town for ma’s corn meal and castor oil. Fell down a ravine and hit my head on a Boulder. Put me in a coma. They only found me after old man Linus saw me while out foraging for salmonberries
  13. Should send me off to the glue factory
  14. I have a hard time remembering the 1930s. Hi @mappy!
  15. I’m nearing Betty White territory
  16. I can give you advice on this. Stop posting. Or just act like an adult instead of a petulant baby losing your shit over something you can’t control
  17. That had the coldest temp I ever remember as a daytime high. Was single digits. I had to thaw frozen water meters all that week. You ever fish out a wrench from the bottom of a water meter filled with water in sub 32° temps? Imagine almost burning off your face and eyebrows when you get a flare up of natural gas when you use a propane torch to thaw a frozen meter for a homeowner so desperate for water they give you cash. Had to refuse or get fired.
  18. Yes. Was living at my moms and all day long the weather said temps would get above 32 and it never did and it sleeted all day. inches of cement
  19. MLK storm. That was epic. It started the most memorable week of work for me. The whole week was bitter cold. I worked outside from 6am-11pm for 6 days.
