My list of things NOT to do after this is all over grows. I'm adding never visiting GA to that.

    COVID-19 Talk

My dad was born in 1936 so he was a part of the tail end of the Great Depression and jumped right into WW2/ The stuff he told me of what they did/didn't have as a kid was stunning. Now we have groups of people going out to protest and butthurt they can't get a damn haircut or lawn gnomes with ease. There are just ridiculous narratives being pushed when reality is that a ton of people will suffer if we don't listen to the experts.

It feels that for some of these people it was a chance to dust off old signs they had from the last march/protest they went on which was totally unrelated to the current situation. Even if the signs are new the bad spelling remains.
  4. You could. Just order a underground petroleum storage tank from amazon and bury it. Ground is soft. Then back up the tanker truck and fill
  5. If they ran off then why are they PM'ing? Guess they didn't really run off.

Depends. A constipated one is easier than a taco bell one. More firm and doesn't get mushy. Y'all enjoy breakfast now.

I had help but cut my own hair last week. Its not nearly as good as the lady i go to but its not bad. I would need a lot more practice to get that good. If and when we go back to normal I'll go back to her. She uses a straight razor for the detail work. She's got a steady hand. I don't And agree on cruises. Eff that. As far as other things? Maybe concerts until we have things under control and most have some immunity built up.

What bothered me is that I just don’t have enough scars to be in a scar off contest. I have 3 and one was self inflicted. Cone of shame.

If he had the virus when he went fishing at night the coroner will say it was COVID as cause of death. Not the massive shark bites and hanging eyeball
  13. I dunno. Just went on a walk and the breeze was not too bad
  14. Never been a GM guy but I can say w/o a doubt that the Buick GN(X) body style was awesome. Same with some 70s vintage Corvettes

You just perfectly demonstrated the problem with acceptable risk. You risked reading it and now are permanently damaged.

Before we declare that people under 50 that recover are all fine and dandy, have there been studies done to check on these people to see if they have or will have any long term effects from this? when stats say that people who get it and recover come back fully then I’ll say the risk of getting it is worth it. Until then when medical people say it will eff you up regardless of age I prefer to keep recommendations in place and not get it

Dr. Phil gave us Bhad Bhabie. The hell if he is still some sort of medical expert.

Nah, its not insensitive. Its having hope that the worst is behind us and the measures people are taking has helped slow things from being worse. Yes, these deaths are tragic and many are losing loved ones. What's insensitive is trying to rationalize and justify a certain number of deaths that are acceptable just so things can get reopened sooner. Not you doing that but rumblings are beginning. Its easy to have a cavalier attitude about it when you have the means to limit risk. And no one is 100% invincible to it. A person that gets it might be lucky and do ok but its not guaranteed. i know I don't want to get it and take that chance. Wife, kids, friends might be a little sad if I croak.
  22. There are few monumental moments in a persons life and one of them is graduating high school and getting to have that moment and celebration. My son is a senior and can’t have one as of now and it breaks my heart. And on top of that being able to plan for life after HS is on hold. Having to have a heartfelt talk to boost a kid’s morale because they can’t see where their life of headed due to this and other stuff wasn’t what I planned on doing tonight. But I did. And I need a drink but have to work tomorrow. Another day, another challenge
  23. Mines gone up with this. Weekends are my jam. But I’ve gone to sipping drinks over anything. Just get a good light buzz going and find a quiet spot
