Per that 6z EPS map it says 5.2” and I know I should be absolutely thrilled with that right now. Given the last couple years it would be the most snow in as many. And it would be more than others might get. So I’ll shut up and not complain

One thing I never see the models get right is the placement of where the southern extent of confluence meets the precip being shoved north and cause that deathband. Where that happens is the sweet spot. Seems like for that to happen to both you and me the low needs to be near Bermuda

So understand that some of us will Debbie this one worse than Ji because we have legit concerns where y’all NW folks worry over nothing.

It safe to say most of us I-95 and east people have seen and been through this enough to know what will happen. Models will draw us in with snow maps and precip depictions saying we should be frozen. But there will be that one layer at 850/925 that will have +1 or +2C and it will punch in as far as DC and the fall line. Only those with elev and rates will be ok. For those under 300’ we fight that warm layer every. Single. Time.

Don't disagree. But DT has always had a fragile ego. The problem is that DT CAN be a good teacher when he wants to. But he does insult and say shit he shouldn't. I won't forgive him for what he has said to many here. He's an asset but a difficult one

@DTWXRISK You know how Ji is. We are trying to deal with that. Use these storms as a way to help people see that snow maps aren't the end all be all.

He didn't say you lied. Ji is simply hugging the colder models just as you are hugging the Euro more than other models. We still don't know which will be right and I know you know this. I'm just hope we can see how this plays out and you can give your insight on how or why. TEACH DT. Lets see how this can work
