We have had a driver shortage to start the year. Buses have been late and not as many routes covered due to it. But this has nothing to do with Ida so I'll stop bantering

A lot of recent land falling canes have come at night IIRC. Daylight ones and having all these go pro type remote cameras has just increased coverage so much

Sam Lillo on Twitter commented on how Ida is now top 10 as far as RI in 24 hr period. It is likely that this will hit Cat 5 just before landfall given how close data is already

Yeah. The gulf is just so much fuel for these canes now. They just explode in strength every time. And keep hitting the same areas all too often
