  1. absolutely ripping flakes in the heavier 30dbz returns, up to 3 inches
  2. Same ridge just further north between Dunlap and Soddy-Daisy.
  3. Have a dusting and moderate snow (tiny flakes). Insanely slick!
  4. Light snow currently falling on the Waldens ridge, no issues sticking to surfaces. Temps and dewpoints are currently stable at 30.6 and 20, respectively
  5. Appears the cold is making it over waldens ridge/plateau now. Dew points dropping quick
  6. Man, reading this forum leading up to an event is peak happiness haha I'm sorry if this is basic, but when it comes to snow ratios... does elevation matter in this scenario? I'm at 2100', but I assume the snow formation (?) zone is well above me and ground temps control what precip type arrives versus any type of ratio
  7. Man this talk of Toots weather forum brought back some good memories. Thinking about you bud
  8. And that's 10:1.... I may lose power for a while lol
  9. Had a 35 mph gust on my weather station but I don't think it can pick up instantaneous readings Power has gone in an out for a few hours, lost it for about 1 hr earlier but currently back. Atleast 4000 out of power in the dunlap area
  10. Maybe we can hold onto the little snow we have today, temps holding steady at 30 and doesn't appear to warm much. Got to throw a snow ball with my little one, first time he's seen snow and he's hooked.
  11. Have a dusting to an inch on most surfaces, most of the year!
  12. Snowing hard at 32.4, have a dusting on most surfaces
  13. Heavy sleet storm just passed Waldens Ridge and put a dusting (?) down really quick. Just east of Dunlap Edit: Melted quickly, currently 40 and dropping
  14. Only other model that kinda supports it seems to be euro, no major short term model support. Oh nam, you get me every time
  15. Nam sure wants to put a moderate to crippling ice storm tomorrow night for high elevation areas. In particular, nams showing half inch + for waldens ridge. I know the nam is the nam but I know ice has been a possibility (albeit more north and east). Realistic?
