Spot on. Remember getting 14" in NE Bergen County when all was said and done on the morning of the 7th. Giants played the Redskins I think it was at the Meadowlands after it got dumped on with like a foot and a half of snow. Remember BIG piles on the sidelines One of the only times I felt like I got the highest amounts as a kid in that area. Got most of it from the EWR mega band. Think they ended up with something like 14" too

Out of the whole widespread 2'+ numbers in the Capital District of Albany the biggest number on that map is Peru, Ma with the 28". That place/Savoy never fails to be the most. Amazing numbers in NY State for sure though, all-timer

I remember that one in NNJ. It was a 2 part storm also if I'm not mistaken but I remember the Sunday after it all stopped, watching football with over 14". Best early storm I had there I can remember until October 2011. Final here: Round 1: 1" Round 2: 5.8" Total: 6.8"

In the thick of it here. I'm close to 7" now storm total. If it can hold over Logan long enough they'll probably get close to 7" also. Either way it goes down in the Boston books of early 6" storms. I assume there hasn't been many before 12/5

Logan reports 5.9” at 1pm. They’ll def end up over 6” and verify many people forecasts!

Last moderate burst coming through Boston? Big fluff balls. Should put me over 6in for round 2 and about 7.5” total for the storm. Pretty damn good for the first few days of December in the coastal plain. Congrats to everyone in the Worcester Hills on West especially the Pioneer Valley! An all-timer there. In my 4 years in Amherst the most I ever saw in one storm was 15”. That place is usually a sucker hole. Not this time. Congrats everyone!!!!

Yeah, leaned too much on the short range models and trends. Normally when they start showing an East trend less than 12 hours out, you can take it to the bank. Kudos to BOX for sticking with their guns for most of it.

Not yet I guess. Don't know what the latest modeling has. BOX did cut back but not by much. Still thinking the banding will make an impact with the 6" in BOS, North Shore, South Shore. We'll see what it looks like in the morning. Night

I have given up but we'll see. This storm seems to have found a way to screw Boston one way or another. I can just see it tomorrow morning with the CCB setting up shop to hit the North Shore, South Shore and CC while KBOS sits just outside. That kind of crap is what pisses me off and is so annoying, climo or not. Can only hope for the best now

Anybody know when BOX will pull back from that ridiculous snow forecast? 8in is not happening here. I'm kind of surprised that they issued that at 5:45pm when a lot of the 18z suite had come out already and clearly showed the goods headed East out into the Atlantic

Yep, have to remember it's just the first few days of December. Just really rough when you can't hit on both ends of a storm like this. Assuming that the South Shore does relatively well tonight/tomorrow, this will be the ultimate screw spot in Eastern Mass. Absolutely 0 broke right here and everything wrong. Hope I'm wrong but I actually expect James to end up with more than KBOS when all is said and done. Glad you're getting in on it now. Enjoy!

Super light snow continues here. A little over an inch. Me thinks coastal Boston proper gets porked on both ends of this garbage which obviously includes Logan. Last night we were too far East and close to the ocean so we warmed and rained, tonight/tomorrow we will be just too far enough West to cash in on the CCB. I really hate this location GL guys to whoever's getting the goods now and tonight/tomorrow. I hope you pile up

That Rt. 2 corridor to Albany has been an amazingly consistent firehose all day. Someone will def. be at/above 30"
