I have a nest under a metal garden hose holder.  Have sprayed several cans of Raid on it without much success.  Poked the nest with a long tomato stake earlier this week and almost knocked the whole nest down.  Checked it out today and they've almost built the whole nest back.  They are amazingly persistent creatures. 

I am considering going north Saturday evening 

Southern Maine too far south Wiz ? Decent shot of MCS? Rev is rooting for 1995 Derecho to walk through front door.

I know this has morphed into tomato talk but nice summertime cell approaching Lowell right now 

Just went to store.  In front of me a guy with his arm hanging out the open window.   Immediately thought of RevKev and started laughing.

The real challenge is trying to discern which factors to focus in on....not unlike coming up with a game plan in football imo. Like a puzzle..seasonal forecasting is cool.

Ray from a newbie who lurks - thank you. You had a great write-up that you obviously spent a huge amount of time on. Your writing (and others in this thread) are very educational.

Seasonal forecasting is hard but I love reading the winter outlooks. Keep em coming !

The second half was better imo....it was slightly more intense and really slowed at the quintessentially perfect time, as another developed behind it and filled.

Yes that band from 4-8 was awesome. Just dumping snow. Looked so Curried and Ives
