I have Emerald Zoysia in my backyard and love it. Very drought tolerant and fills in any gaps and chokes out weeds. Only problem is it sends out runners so it can get in your beds pretty quick.
Wateree is a great place to fish. At one time, it had a great striped bass population but I think that has dropped some. I would not eat a lot of fish out of that lake though. Lots of pollution unfortunately.
This next "storm" is going to be a drought buster but when the cold air ain't there, it ain't there. The clock is ticking down fast and it looks like Mother Nature will win again (along with the North East)
