  1. I am just glad that Tim Buckley was man enough to go all in yesterday. Maybe that will help us not have a grocery store/gas station apocalypse the day that the snow is falling.
  2. SREF Plumes doubled again. Up to 2.05 in GSO. On a side note, Tim Buckley said forget all you other peeps....I'm going all in ! First call 2-4" in the triad and mentioned that it could be higher.
  3. SREF mean for snow in GSO has moved today from .11 to .21 to .55
  4. That image almost looks like a traditional CAD signal. Has anything changed with the HP up north that could cause that? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  5. I believe they were saying they got 6 back in December and had the ice last weekend. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. Those both appear to be maps from yesterday, unless I am reading something wrong ?
  7. A funny observation from watching Lanie Pope at 11. She still had the graphic showing a 10-30% chance of western piedmont getting snow/ice accumulating. That was followed by the future radar...depicting snow breaking out in western piedmont at 8:30am Sunday and it still snowing at 5:30am Tuesday![emoji12] Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. It's a tough line to walk. I honestly feel they should just say there is a decent chance of a significant storm now, instead of waiting till Thursday or so and causing the zombie apocalypse at the grocery stores, but at the same time, I understand their predicament of not hyping too early. 9. Latest IR appears to show her compacting the eye and giving it one last strengthening push before heading to land. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. I would hope that any of these inconveniences are nothing compared to the loss of your kid. And if it is and they do not listen next time, that is on them.
  11. Indeed. I started one last year in early January, and a guy in Asheville bout lost his mind. We ended up with 6 inches. WooHoo! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  12. They wait till the last minute a lot here...especially early in the winter season. I think it is a mental disorder of possibly being wrong. If the trend continues during the overnight, expect an advisory or warning when you wake up tomorrow, but no one will notice it until they get to work and the grocery stores will get SMASHED at 5pm. I hope you already got ingredients for milk sandwiches! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  13. According to NWS, the surface temps are going to drastically rain on all of central NC's parade (no pun intended) Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
