On the CMC ensembles you can see a pretty big spread at hr 36 but then a huge consolidation at hr 42. There's likely 2 lows over a broad area but eventually the western one gets captured and deepens.
I'm prepping camera gear. Supposed to get the call from work today if they're gonna get me a hotel room tomorrow in Manhattan (I work in live news) If I do I'll try to shoot some scenes. If not I'll still get some stuff here in Jersey City.
For all its faults with it's depiction of QPF you can clearly see where banding is on the UKMET. If you're in north western areas I think some good banding will set up even if the surface low doesn't "tuck" close to us.
