Beautiful night!! Nice, moderate snow falling, winds gusting up, and a nice 3 finger pour.  

Can finally give a moderate snow observation for the first time in close to 24 hours.  Neighborhood roads are snow covered again.

February sun just won’t be denied in Haymarket, light snow with sun powering through the cloud cover.

Winds have definitely started to crank up here.  Misty, sleety, pixie mix.

Sleet with an occasional flake mixed in.  Very light.  Maybe would see some snow if rates picked up, but that is not looking promising this far south.

Real nice burst of snow right now in Haymarket.  Would love 15-20 minutes of these rates.

Just took a quick ride to the ABC store.  28F according to the vehicle thermometer.  Roads are getting a little bit dicey in places with a light snow covering the side streets.

Pixie dust actually starting to accumulate again, now that it is late enough in the afternoon that we don't have to deal with the late Jan/early Feb sun angle.

Just about 3 inches in Haymarket and rates are picking back up, enough to think about covering the blacktop showing after the plow came by.

Currently in Nokesville and there is sleet mixing in with the light rain.  

34/28 in Haymarket.  Temp has dropped 3F in last hour.

It's been pretty chilly on Anna Maria Island for the last few days.  Do you anticipate a warm up in the near future?  Our stay here ends on Sunday, but there is a possibility to extend it to the following Saturday (1/23).  Do you think the weather will warm up next week to justify staying an additional week?  Thank you for any advisement on the weather for the next 3-10 days.

I had to go check the street light after your observation.  I am not sure if there is any snow mixed in yet here, or if there are just some really big chunks of ice falling from the sky.  Either way, it is some interesting weather tonight. 

Just flipped from freezing rain to a heavy beatdown of sleet.  Power outages starting to pop up in western PWC.
