  1. Didn't witness the pencil, but it seems to have brought a 46 mph gust. Plus, a cliff of a temperature drop in it's wake.
  2. Slight/enhanced risk with 75 kt 850 winds = light rain and a mild surface breeze? I guess shit happens sometimes. Maybe the squall tonight will deliver something?
  3. I've been getting asked all day about it at work. It's all people have been talking about. I'm surprised everyone is that in tune.
  4. For sure. Strongest thunderstorm in 11 years (wind-wise), and then snow cover in less than 24 hours? This winter is even dying well.
  5. In 19 hours we went from a severe thunderstorm to this:
  6. This cloud to cloud lightning has been amazing.
  7. Just recorded my strongest wind gust since a thunderstorm in June of 2015. That got pretty wild there for a minute. Some good lightning, too.
  8. Sun is back out, temp is climbing, and humidity that I'm not used to... 67F dew.
  9. First thunderstorm of the year. Nice change of pace. Temp down to 68F from 75. 0.11" of rain thus far.
  10. Definitely an A winter here. I can't add a plus because winters like 09/10 exist. Although, that may have been A++
  11. That was a quick half inch. A nice fresh white cover on everything. Unfortunately won't last long. Does put the seasonal total at exactly 30".
  12. Man, it's dumping right now. Everything covered, even main roads. 33F
  13. That's funny. We were probably next to each other. I was there picking up some friends from Hertz.
  14. That 21.5 measurement in Gloucester County can't be correct. That spotter (1 W Pitman), along with myself (Washington Twp), both had a 16" measurement around the same time this morning. Other than some light snow, the storm is over. 5 hours later and that same location picks up 5.5 inches? Nope. No chance. Spotter card should be pulled. lol
  15. Agree. First time I've seen double digits in a decade. And it was double the amount of the storm a month ago. Definitely an A for this winter. Looking forward to the next good winter in 2036. lol
  16. Yeah. As heavy as this snow is, the 3 inches of sleet on top of the snow last storm was brutal.
  17. Actually, I think maybe 13/14 was more, but not those other winters. Edit: According to Rutgers, 14/15 was too. lol I don't remember that winter being over 30", but they say it was just barely.
  18. I think my snowfall total on the season is 29.5", which is the biggest since 09/10. I'm good with just a half inch more. Let's go GFS.
