    Ended up with only 0.90 inches of rain. 2.94" for the month.

    Picked up 0.22' of rain this morning. So, 2.04" on the month and 18.69" since July 1.

    Lost my internet. Still have power though. Ham radio reporting 80 MPH winds in Salem County? Last Thursday gave one of the best storms of the year. Today, one of the best lightning storms of my life. Close to an inch of rain with that one, too. That's a good wrap up for summer. Can we get nice temps and low dew points, now?

    This lightning is indescribable. And those strikes are "only" the CG strikes.

    This may be some of the most apocalyptic lightning I've ever seen. The amount of cloud to ground lightning and cloud to cloud lightning is insane. Non-stop flashing and loud cracks. Unbelievable.

    Picked up 0.19" of rain this morning. A station 3 miles to my south received 0.86". Up to 8.25" for the month. Maybe we can reach July's total before this day is over. Only need another 0.15". Looking forward to amazing dew points this weekend especially after this hot and sweaty week ahead.

    The rain has finally almost stopped after more than 3.5 hours of it. 4.53" over that time. Over 8 inches for the month after 8.4" for July. It took til the end of August but that was the best storm of the year. Mainly for the rain and lightning (and for almost getting struck by it lol).

    Probably the closest I've been to a lightning strike while standing outside. Awesome.

    Just watched lightning strike a building at my work. It was about 100 feet away from me while I was standing outside. Felt a little shock in my arm. That was LOUD!

    Got down to 57F this morning. That was nice.

    The weather is currently beautiful. 69F and winds gusting into the 20's. The sky is glowing orange. Making me long for the days of autumn right now.

    91F with a 72F dew. 5th day of the heat wave. Maybe I'll get a storm today? Maybeee?

    Just hit 90F, making it the 4th day of the heat wave. Luckily, the dew point has dropped a tad.

    Got/getting very little. Dissipation is the name of the game. It did drop the temp down to 75F and the dew down to 68F, so there's that. Storm didn't look bad approaching, but what developed down towards Vineland looked more impressive.
