Looking at upper levels (and I could be wrong here) I don’t see why it wouldn’t come even more north. The problem is with no cold press thermals would be an issue.

Real talk though, not a good outcome verbatim but there’s probably gonna be a monster storm affecting the eastern 1/3 of the US on or around the 8th. It’s all you can ask for 10 days out.

I don’t have much to add other than people much more knowledgeable than I were saying 2nd week of January was when things would get active. Not sure why people are freaking out. It sucks to waste a week but it is what it is. We’ve been in much worse situations at this time in the season, with zero snowfall.

I agree. Mid Atlantic and New England are the top 2 in my opinion.

Outside of zr around the M/D line, this one is dead.

Euro was weak… no sleet really and a few tenths of zr for the favored areas. Besides what the gfs is showing - this one might be cooked.

Canadian still sucked, but Gefs with a huge shift south. Colder and better precip orientation.

It was a joke - I said Trenton-NYC will be the jackpot then 10 minutes later the GFS showed exactly that.

I’m worried this one is gonna hurt. Seems like a few op runs will bring us in over the next couple days, but the end result will be a 8-12” hit between Trenton and NYC.

Fun stat for mby - every day this month has had a low below 32°. Last December had 11 lows above freezing. Obviously the streak will end in a few days but pretty interesting.

Legit wild - I went from 32° to 38° in like 10 minutes an hour ago, back down to 35° now
