    I believe mid level low is tracking further south this time which explains why the best rates are further SE?

    it’s still early for this but since snow maps went out last night NYC/western LI and up to I84 12-18 Northern NJ 18-24 Eastern LI 6-12

    I’d could see possible flooding for eastern LI if it’s like 6-12 inches of snow and then a period of heavy rain. From NYC west any flip to rain I would think is light and at the tail end

    This has gone from long duration light to moderate snow to some light snow to extremely heavy snow to light mix or drizzle

    Yea I was focused on nyc changing to rain at the end but yes it’s quite a thump first

    Welp Euro agrees with cmc/ukie this better not trend anymore or it’s going to be problems for many of us.

    Yes but it’s a weaker model with an outlier solution so toss for now unless it gets support from other models

    This is why I was always more worried about suppression than north with this storm. Even the cmc which is likely way too warm is easily 10+ for the city

    Agree but I don’t think 15-20 inches im some spots of the metro is out of the question

    Yes track is fine it didn’t go south it’s just funky with precip that’s why I’m tossing

    Really? I actually think it’s a very strong model under 48 hours but not sure what the statistics show.

    The interesting part about NAM is it sticking with the overrunning reaching the city way earlier than other models and that’s now under 48 hours.

    This is why the NAM is not a good model beyond 48 hours night and day compared to its last run

    Not really in any kind of meaningful way at this point except maybe the twin forks/montaulk

    NAM coming in SE of its last run as expected

    Think this will be better north of the city than that event but yes for the city and south may be similar (probably not quite as high totals)
