  1. I’m pretty close to there definitely steady but doesn’t seem that cranking but I also admittedly haven’t actually been outside so I might be underestimating.
  2. Yes only places that might get legit rain are eastern LI. The rest of the area will be light slop.
  3. Yes but I still was right suppression was a bigger danger than too warm with this.we ended up with a more amped scenario and It is going to mix maybe after dumping 1 to 2 feet
  4. It could be more I haven’t actually been outside but the rates have been light to moderate nothing that heavy yet but I think the true banding will come soon for northern NYC/Northern suburbs
  5. As someone posted last night the dry slot may be within 30-50 miles of the city/LI but should stay there until tonight
  6. I’m at border of Yonkers/Bronx near Woodlawn it’s snowing but I wouldn’t say puking snow.
  7. It’s also possible it could be snowing much harder in parts of queens and LI than Manhattan. The bands are coming in off the ocean and expected to move nw
  8. It’s really not that heavy yet but wouldn’t expect it to be. The coastal stuff hasn’t even really started yet
  9. This is one of the best setups the area has had period not often you get the benefit of both waa snow and coastal snow.
  10. I actually wouldn’t be shocked if there is pingling near or in the city briefly tonight (the middle level warming with the waa snows) but it will recede quickly once the coastal takes over
  11. It definitely won’t be that far northwest by noon. Although some models do have the mix line approaching the region overnight with the overrunning precip but it will crash once the coastal takes over.
  12. The initial dry slot I believe is due to the transfer from primary to coastal and will fill in and blow up from Philly on NE once the coastal cranks.
