Flurry machine broken right now at BWI but temp is down to 36 from 38 and radar looks to be filling back in soon with some real snow.

Nothing yet at BWI but it’s also 38 degrees so that’s ok for now.

Heaviest snow I have seen at BWI since 2016. If we can get the grass covered before the deep freeze I’ll be happy to call this one a win. -

About the same at BWI, but we’ve now just transitioned to light snow but with very small flakes. -

Respectfully on most model runs there was a very hard line between decent snow and nothing it was just the placement that was unknown. Not that it matters but I’ve been around since the old forum as well and this one didn’t feel like nearly as big a miss as some of the heartbreakers in the past. If I’m wrong I’m wrong *shrug* Moderate sleet at BWI. Sticking instantly though. -

I’m not a met so I’ll leave the real discussion to them but to me this event was always on a razor thin edge someone in central MD was going to be on the wrong side. This time it was basically the western border of Anne Arundel county, that being said a couple decent bands and it all evens out you never know until it’s over. I think models honestly did a good job portraying the difficult set up on this one but we get caught up looking at qpf and snow maps and sometimes miss what’s clearly being modeled right in front of us because well, it’s fun to look at snow maps. -

Not a flake so far at BWI maybe a pivot will give us something nice to look at before the sun goes down. Congrats to all the areas who missed out last time and scored this time. Rough hobby sometimes, I feel for the Baltimore crew. -

It’s snowing in March and it’s very pretty I wouldn’t call that a disaster. Big fatties blowing in the wind at BWI. -

That nice band of snow really died when it hit BWI. Snowing here but nothing like the rates described further west. -

Just wanted to say thank you for the great discussion from the mets on the last couple pages, and hey at least for once temps are good and any snow will stick right away! -

That's really interesting, I learn so much lurking this forum since 09/10. Mostly inappropriate town names but still. -
