  1. Just drove from Pikesville to Crofton. As soon as hit the coastal plain the sky opened up. The sky looks awesome down here. It looks super tropical and there's thunderstorms everywhere.
  2. Where did the storm go lol. Reed Timmers "maga east coast flood" headlines aren't aging well. Headed out to water the garden. It's back to being pretty dry here.
  3. Yup. Lol. It will be in Detroit in a few more runs.
  4. Congrats Pittsburgh. I went from 5-7 to less then an inch. That should boring over 3 days lol. Sprinkles and low clouds is better than 100 degrees.
  5. Looks like some action popping along 70 on that outflow boundry. Im actually surprised by the amount of development out in WV and VA. I see a lot of "heat lightning" out there. Looks like storms blowing up right over Stephens City. It looks like a solid line of storms is trying to develop.
  6. Those storms out in Northern WV kinda look like they want to aim for the DC area. It's extremely humid out there. Maybe they surprise us and we wake up to strobe light effect during the night.
  7. Parts of SE PA are going to get absolutely swamped tonight. Pretty impressive system up in PA. Why can't we get fun weather like that lol. The line seems to be building south a little bit.
  8. I'm getting ready to do a couple mile hike into the wetlands of Bacon Ridge in Crownsville. The DP in the lowlands are probably in the low 80's. The temperature is 90. I can see some building clouds to my north. It looks like it's probably over Columbia. Woo storms?
  9. Thanks! I should of posted in banter. I'd move it but not sure how lol.
  10. Here's the plants. I figured out how to post pictures lol
  11. What are your thoughts on wind? I've got some huge cannabis plants I'm a little worried about. Soft wet ground and strong winds could be an issue. I'm going to secure them for the storm the best I can.
  12. The trend seems to be further west up the Appalachians. They could probably use it more then the lowlands. I just hope it doesn't end up boring here with just passing showers and fast moving low clouds for days.
  13. It doesn't look like anything extreme and never really did. A good soaking over several days is exactly what we need, and look to get. It should be a nice break from the crushing heat and humidity.
  14. It looks like one of those big tropical rain events that hits Japan and China. I think they call extreme rain events, black rain warning. Black rain warning sounds so much cooler. This looks like a black rain event.
  15. Do it, WxWatcher007. Time for a thread. You're our tropical expert.
  16. GFS brings 3-4" across the area. It looks like it forms a new low as it moves offshore.
  17. The predicted the euros path a month ago. Congrats to the same places that have been swamped all summer. Let's hope that changes.
  18. It's funny seeing the hype with the social media meteorologist. I've see rainfall maps posted with crazy totals. The comments by soccer moms that follow these guys are freaking out. Reminds me of winter lol. Meanwhile, in reality, we have 0 clue what or where it's going.
  19. GFS is interesting. Not for our area, but interesting lol
  20. I'm just sitting on my patio smoking a joint of some Blueberry Cupcake that I grew. The sky is getting dark, wind is picking up. It's a beautiful evening. Edit: The rain has moved in. Big ole raindrops.
  21. Definitely impressive. You can see it on radar blasting wind out of it. It looks like the storm is collapsing.
  22. NE MD is a swamp this summer. They get pummeled just about every day. It's really windy and hot here. No rain yet but I'm watching storms fire to my west. Hopefully it's a action packed evening.
  23. It looks like the GFS might of smoked a little bit of crack. That's a unique storm track lol
