Dec 07 was epic til the grinch...like no melting..

My position is that December snow is best, but March averages slightly more....especially near coast.

Point is good deal of melting...relativecto how much has fallen, not much left.

Aside from the holiday aspect and low sun angle...March is better for snowfall, especially on the cp.

I was breaking balls for the most part. I agree its going to quiet down in January, but the key wwillbe whether or not second half blocking developes. I think that it will, but if not, it may be a short winter.

No. May be worth a look....soundings have always been an egregious hole on my knowledge base and I have never rectified that.
