  1. Wouldnt mind experiencing that. It would be good for my business (replacing electrical services that get ripped off of houses). But living my whole life in Taunton and Raynham, I've never seen it before. Maybe Sunday though.... You def. have a shot.
  2. I know that you meant in general, which is only true when there is no apparent impetus for the blocking. Nothing could be further from the truth this season, nor last season. You need to know what to look for, and not just summarily dismiss. Remember, assess yourself, and look to guidance for conformation. This voo doo conceptualization that blocking is akin to some sort of mythical legend is entirely a product of people just impulsively whacking it to long range ensembles without questioning it. Last January was a prime example....people pinned there hopes to it and flipped, when there was never anything to support it. This led to the tragically flawed presupposition that least season would never recover, and we'd see an early spring. #oops
  3. I agree....I had a thin strip of major icing potential from south central CT through N RI into interior se MA. I won't be widespread, and preceding snow/sleet pack will mitigate its effects. You may actually have a shot...
  4. Yea...I don't think my 10:1 is too high, I only peak at like 1C at between H85-H7 for a time.
  5. I can't stand the Kuchera charts....its like an algorithm that James formulated in the index of 'The Dawn Awakening'..
  6. I have a feeling that I'm going to appreciate that extra 12 or so miles of latitude that I gained in the move for the first time.
  7. I'd like the UK to verify a bit north...subsidence in this area.
  8. I said QPF....thermals may be too cold, and if they aren't, QPF maybe lower.
  9. James, enough with that crap..you would not get 4'. If it trended south, you get colder, but also lose some WCB...thus lose some QPF.
  10. The Euro did not phase in the main PV at all...it phased a lobe in later, which is why it croaked us. The 18z GFS phased some of the main PV, which won't happen. My blog was about this tonight. The EURO is a good way to turn this into a HECS, but not ready to sign off on that yet...that perfect degree of lobe phasing and timing needs to hold for a couple days. Too early to go ballz deep.
  11. First Call: https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2019/01/high-impact-winter-storm-on-sunday.html Final live from GTG on Saturday. I see blizzard potential with some n stream trends, but not ready to go there yet.
  12. First time in my life saying this, but I hope Logan gets more than I do
