  1. Every time the lakes region of NH snows and you don't lol
  2. Touche. You seem to have realistic expectations, which is an unusual trait around here....
  3. Man, we would have had a blizzard if we had had a PNA ridge....
  4. Great post. I flagged 12z Saturday in my AM blog as the crucial point that the EURO phases that system, and other guidance as of 00z last night, failed to do so as proficiently. Transent ridging over intermountain west aids that.
  5. Debatable...I could see either. I don't think February will suck, but maybe March is better...
  6. Need the PNA ridge...ruins what could have been a blizzard. Inconsequential mixed mess likely.
  7. I buy that ...all in. Between February and March we should get a big NAO.
  8. 06z Euro looks to be phasing that ULL a bit faster over the TV..
  9. Yea, that is why I think the 00z Euro is the ceiling. If we had a stable PNA ridge, that could nuke us.
  10. Its not a carbon copy...the gradient is like 70 mi south.
  11. In my Monday blog edition, I actually cited Sunday as the only chance for significant snows in the near future. Gotta overcome some odds, though.
  12. I'm skeptical for now.....also feel the transient intermountain ridge out west is causing these changes more so than the confluence streak...that looks like its always been therecto me.
  13. Yes, January has always looked mild to me. I'm in agreement with the RNA....those depictions for February will be right if the Atlantic doesn't pan out. I still think that it will.

  15. Forecast did okay...snowfall of up to an inch extended a bit further to the south than forecast, and there was not as much ice in the CRV as expected. I glossed over that last point, and should have been more diligent. https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2019/12/verification-nye-mixed-bag.html I'd give it a "B"...
