  1. Yea, I have 1.5" as of 530 pm and that is disappointing, I don't care how much snow is on the radar. Not doubting Chris' Science, but more to it.
  2. "Jay, you got screwed, only 2"!!? Nah, BOX has snow on it.
  3. Right, but earlier than expected...all we heard was how guidance has been slowing it down, and how ne MA would crush early evening.....poof.
  4. As opposed to the events in which the accumulation of precipitation is not intensity driven?
  5. I think its picking up on weenie hopes collapsing towards reality.
  6. I'm glad I stayed conservative...I was getting nervous about busting low, but this event blows...and I don't mean the wind. At least its white around the holidays, but 12/09/05 this is not.
  7. Strange....I wasn't been watching RAD during day , but you guys probably got into better banding.
  8. I had Boston proper near the edge of 1-3" and 3-6". I am happy.
  9. Funny....350' elevation up here did nothing...I drove up the "hill" about an hour ago..
  10. Yea, that is what save my forecast fro busting high....its easy to think otherwise with the early flip, but ratios are like 7:1 with the shit thermals. Snowing since 1pm with like an inch.
  11. Looks like a full-fledged noreaster now....after having an innocuous spring type snow appearance all PM.
  12. Started to transition to white rain at noon....completed transition to snow at around 1pm and has been varying in intensity since. .1/2" as of 330pm, as accumulation was tempered by temp bouncing between 33.8 and 34.0. But as the sun is setting, intensity has become consistently heavy, and temp down to 33.4. Did a weenie recon to the 350' hill down the street and not much diff...maybe a bit better adherence to pavement.
