  1. Much easier than it is in January and February....
  2. Looks like my first call from Friday night.
  3. I've always been skeptical because 40" December snowfall is unprecedented here....we probably won't get the bomb, warm up for xmas and limp into January....even so, I will be pretty near Dec 1995 for snowfall, so..
  4. Yea, Euro looks like GFS. Its Grinch or Glory....no medium. Grinch is more likely...
  5. Irony is that I am not advocating for a jackpot here....anyone with a clue knows that the JP will be with the mid level banding, which is actually over me in his southern solution.
  6. Yea, slight....truth be told, I expected a bit more than that, but not a huge move. Point is south trend is done.
  7. You figured that it would tick north? That is what it did....suspect another tick this evening.
  8. How much you have left? Just a few piles here..
  9. The initial vorticity and mid level circulation is well west. The high doesn't change that. The high can add some resistance in the mid levels, yes, but the most prominent impact is to enhance ageostrphic drain at the surface.
  10. It wasn't even that...it was just bad forecasting. I had a preconceived notion and didn't use soundings to see that that case was an exception. Learned alot from people like you on that.
  11. Hey, I was wrong last time, so hopefully for CT I am again.
  12. We'll see. High only impacts SLP....
  13. Strong hunch based upon swfe climo and trends among othwr guidance.
  14. I'd be fine with that, too. I like where I sit...probably no jp, but odds of zilch are very minute..
  15. Just get me any snow cover heading through the frigid lead into xmas week and I'm happy.
  16. Yea, I didn't bother analyzing day 7-8 soundings, but that vendor reflects thermals more accurately in snow maps.
  17. F5Weather doesn't incorporate sleet into the snowfall algorithm.
