the west pac is just too warm. the jet shits out disturbance after disturbance

i know it's 360 hours but this is pretty much the warmest look possible at 500mb

when it's july and the dewpoint is below 75

nothing makes me wish for more climate change like a summer day below 95

even without phase 5 the pac killed our snowstorms

we lived through months like january 2004. this was an average winter with below normal snow

by under a degree for the first two

i wonder if it's from our cold shots being fully mixed out every time

i want out of this new climate. snow averages are tanking, cold snaps are windy and don't set records, summers are hot without hitting 100, the best we can hope for from convection is a flash flood blob, we get boring month long dry stretches and the irregular rainfall is horrible for gardening, we get blocking every april, etc etc
