  1. Just realized NWS has me for 17”. Dayum. https://www.weather.gov/gyx/winter
  2. Well…. I still like my 10-12” call. If you want more than you need to cross the 1st 2 off the list.
  3. We still haven’t had a congrats dendrite run yet.
  4. All of the NWS maps I see on website are through 7a Monday still.
  5. This is why I’m still hesitant. I told everyone 8-12 originally. Slowly started saying around 12 now.
  6. Just realized that we are still 72 hours from first flakes. So much time for things to go wrong improve more!
  7. Can't wait for that NAM run that captures the surface low, nukes the CCB and gives everyone 2-3' kuchera wise.
  8. Got what we should have but sounds like we missed out on a couple. Hope we make it up Sunday night.
  9. You might be right. My hesitation comes from uniqueness of this setup. Perhaps I’m wrong in the old SWFE rule of thumb of 6-8” then slot. Perhaps it’s not applicable here. The Euro ripping in dry air at 500 (maybe that’s above everything and doesn’t matter) and the 750 and 800 center taking a trip to Montreal just don’t scream widespread 12”+ to me.
  10. I’m glad this has trended north for us, I just think there are still a lot of caution flags.
  11. In agreement with this but might remove the word hellacious from my current thinking.
  12. If we could avoid the 700 & 850 mb lows going to Montreal like the 00z Euro show that would be nice. A very broad 6-10" for the whole region feels like the proper forecast at the moment.
