HailMan06
It was a pretty decent storm. Very heavy rain and strong, but not severe wind. Very frequent lightning flashes and thunder.
Irishmick9
Just came thru Vernon....very heavy rain, gusts in the 40s with about 30 seconds of a few pea sized hailstones. Decent lightning display. Not a severe storm but solid overall.
AmyB
Having a small fit on my couch, waiting.. winds died down quite a bit about 10 minutes ago, picking up now.. Most interesting February 24 I can remember.. Starting to see lightning, no thunder yet.. it's eerie when there's a calm like this before a storm! hooralph
I can't even... Wind rattling our place has already moved from "awesome" to "unsettling" bordering on "alarming." Figured when we got a great storm here we'd get a nice squall line in the summer we could track in the distance... Not dead of night in February. cjr231
I've never felt my building rattle from wind like it is tonight. I'm on the 10th floor of a 40 story building. It's unsettling. Frequent lightning in midtown now. Not much thunder.

Velocity radar supports strongest winds in those cells at the moment. Was just about to post that. Those transverse bands mean business, being oriented in perfect fashion to slam the low level jet down to the ground. Almost don't need them out here with the wind easily gusting 50-55 mph.
