HighStakes
Is that his forecast? He's a solid forecaster so if he's going low, that's bad news IMO ETA: just saw his tweet. 2-4" north of the city. Looks reasonable to me. I like his forecast. It's very reasonable however I don't like how they us the RPM as their futurecast. Then their amounts don't match the futurecast in motion. Tony Pann had 4-5 north of town earlier then Tom T adjusted this evening. Looks like a very solid forecast to me. Btw Tom T has been very conservative all year more so than usual and it has worked out well.
nj2va
Getting a little creeped out by the dry area over Garrett County and Eastern WV... Am I seeing things? Stop looking at the radar and just enjoy the snow.
I sleep with a met
There's a stuck car in front of our house! My husband is out there trying to push the car and it's occupant up one of Fairlington's large hills by himself. Poor guy!

HighStakes
He's forecasting 4-6" south of the city... you think that's too low? No that's ok but 2 inches around the beltway looks low. Maybe you didn't see his map with specific amounts in the area and he had a lot of 2's in areas that probably should have been 4-5.

Rhode Islander in Balto
Just opened a Two Brothers Prairie Path Golden Ale and poured myself a dram of Booker's, right as the rates picked up nicely outside
87storms
i'm starting to question the 8-10" predictions. precip is a bit too spotty for that imo, but will see what happens later. maybe we get some redevelopment/banding for a couple hours. at this point, i don't care. whatever falls will fall. mattie g
Not overly impressed at this point, but I played with my daughter and my dog in a half inch of snow earlier - so much fun! Working from home tomorrow, so I'll be able to enjoy some breaks with the family out in the snow, no matter how much I end up with!

TJ3
I hope DT is wrong on his latest FB post for NOVA. Ouch. LP not strong enough to overcome dry air up here. Snow totals could be significantly reduced.

NorthArlington101
I know its early, but I feel like every year we fall for the ratio trap. There is always a storm where we talk about 15:1 ratios and it seemingly never comes to fruition.

You just need the column saturated and we don't have that here.

psuhoffman
Actually let me say I really like his forecast for up here but I think he is way too low for Columbia, Catonsville etc. our best chance to do well was a band of enhancement along the nw fringe but right now at least that seems north of us.
