ORH_wxman
Will what do we want in E MA in order to get that TROWAL over us for a time Keep rooting for the upstream ridging to be better...it tucks everything closer to the coast including the inflow in the mid-levels. We don't want the best inflow to be over Georges Bank and then the Gulf of Maine and then Downeast...we want it tucked closer. A stronger more amplified shortwave helps that since it pumps the heights back NW ahead of it...and then of course we want those ML centers to rapidly develop to our SW. Zeus
The south trend is real, started by the Canadians. They've always had a tendency to huddle around their southern border. They like our warmth and our Americanized Mexican cuisine, especially Chipotl-eh. I feel like each SW tic I'm waiting for a larger leap in the surface depiction, where suddenly the precip shield/comma head is a more consolidated entity slamming into New England with the gusto of the "whoops" moment at the end of a good game of "just the tip," but I'm beginning to think that it may not be the correct expectation. 40/70 Benchmark
GFS hammers E MA with the CCB this run...even some of central areas. Figured this run would do that. I also expect this to eventually start ticking back ne very late in the game, so we really want to build some margin for error.
