That storm needed to be another 75 miles south though. It was mostly rain from GSP to Charlotte on to Raleigh. Areas in SC north of I-85 did get a decent snow on the back end, but only around 2 fell where I am.

that was the best storm I have ever been in. I was living in cashiers at the time.

I fear that my two children will never see a storm like March of '93. That occurred a year before my wife and I married. We lived in Chattanooga then. I tell my kids about that week and how all the inconvenience was actually fun in hindsight.

probably not at this latitude. It's very very rare to get a storm like that this far south.

let's all cancel our subscriptions! We need to let these models know we are tired of their crap.

If I thought it would help, I would!

Hell with Global Warming, this will become the norm. Your kids will see a superstorm 93 one day.

NOTE* THIS POST IS NOT MEANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. MANY FOLKS ARE KNOWN TO FREAKOUT WHEN CERTAIN WORDS ARE THROWN AROUND.

Yeah that area got hit hard too as did much of Alabama. The storm turned the corner too quickly though for much of SC and NC. Also we really did not have any really cold air until after the storm was over. I think if this storm had been 2 months earlier, more of the Carolinas may have at least had ice from it.

Am I the only one on here who posts the emotioncons by typing in the words between 2 colons? or do you guys do it as well? : lol : : lmao:

I do it when I'm posting on the phone.  Sometimes I type the wrong word like three times before I figure it out!  I hate it when you want to do A) B ) and C)...you have to put a space between B and ) or you get B).

LOL, I don't need the models to tell me it's not going to snow, same reason I don't need an apple to fall on my head, it's as certain as gravity.

How's the clipper look for Monday?  Let me guess...there is a great looking day 10+ event, no blocking, west coast ridging, east coast trough.  This one will be different though, since it's Feb we don't need blocking it won't trend NW/warmer.

It's so nice having to go back and ask questions on how models look, I feel like Brick.
