JBG
if we cant even get cold and snowy when models are showing -NAO towards the end of November, we might as well unplug the winter like we unplugged Eastern us wx. Its over Most Niña winters such as 1967-8, 1970-1, 1973-4 and 1999-2000 had a few good weeks. Winters such as 1988-9 and 1998-9 are the exception rather than the rule. The winter will be mediocre, but not a cancel.

A-L-E-X
If you look at Wes' thread, youll see that the Pac matters much more than the Nao for November.... so a -NAO should bear fruit in December. Just be patient.

Dramacast? Modelcast? Geekcast? Egocast? If they fail any one of these, then I don't take them seriously.

A-L-E-X
the board feels like home again. Oh yes it does. I was worried though about how our Canadian and European friends might take the new name lol. After all, Canada and western Europe seem to be well represented on here It's definitely much better than the old name though, as the board has expanded exponentially since eastern was first created.
